Our take: 158 Seafood 煮炒 appears to be a zi char stall with significant consistency issues, particularly concerning food safety and portioning.
We've noted multiple reports of foreign objects in food, including plastic and a baby roach, which raises serious hygiene concerns.
Customers frequently describe the dishes as overpriced and small, with one reviewer highlighting a $7 seafood bee hoon that contained minimal seafood and insufficient noodles for a child.
While some items like fish soup, fish porridge, and duck & yam dessert have received positive mentions, the overall sentiment points to a lack of fresh seafood and poor value for money.
We think this establishment struggles with basic operational standards.
We'd advise caution and suggest exploring other options in the area, especially given the recurring complaints about hygiene and portion sizes.
