Our take: 7 Stars appears to be a neighbourhood coffee shop in Sengkang with a mixed bag of offerings and service.

While some patrons praise specific dishes like the Putien Lor Mee, which one reviewer rated 10/10 for its price, and the fried Hokkien mee, consistency seems to be an issue.

There are mentions of pre-fried Hokkien mee being served, which is a clear downgrade from freshly fried.

The zhi char stall, Fook Man Seafood, also gets a positive mention for its dishes, and the availability of Mookata with outdoor seating could be a draw for some.

However, the recurring theme across multiple reviews is poor service, particularly from the drinks stall and an 'old man' who is frequently described as rude.

This significantly detracts from the dining experience, with one reviewer stating it 'ruins the whole mood of the day'.

Pricing for drinks also seems to be a point of contention, with a $2.50 Teh O Peng being deemed expensive for the setting.

Verdict: Best for those in the immediate vicinity looking for a quick, no-frills meal, but be prepared for potentially inconsistent food quality and service issues, especially from the drinks stall.

We'd recommend focusing on the Putien Lor Mee or Fook Man Seafood if you do visit.

Get charged $2.50 for a Teh O Peng in a ulu coffeeshop. Uncle also mentioned Very Big cup. Guess uncle didn't go to other coffeeshop before.

Very poor service, especially from the drinks stall. The lady working there is very rude. The prata stall is also badly organised and you need to keep asking for your food.
