Our take: AL Farhan Restaurant presents itself as a standard Indian food joint, with some dishes standing out more than others.
The Butter Chicken receives high praise for its smoky flavour, sweet gravy, and tender, mint-marinated chicken.
This appears to be the menu's highlight.
Other items like the Teh Halia and Telor Bawang Prata are noted as good, with a thoughtful touch of separating chilli from curry.
However, the prata generally receives mixed reviews, with some finding it not crispy enough.
The Mee Goreng is described as average and lacking compared to competitors.
Pricing can be inconsistent, with some customers questioning the value of add-ons like fries.
Service can also be slow at times.
We think this spot is best for those specifically seeking a good Butter Chicken or a late-night meal in the Changi area, provided expectations for other dishes are tempered.

What customers say
AL Farhan Restaurant receives mixed reviews, with its Butter Chicken being a standout for its smoky flavor and tender chicken, often described as a "banger." However, other dishes like prata and mee goreng are frequently deemed average or disappointing, with complaints about prata lacking crispiness and mee goreng being uninspired.
Pricing for certain items, such as the chicken wing set with fries, has also been noted as illogical, while service is generally friendly.

Ordered a chicken wing set with fries for 9.90. there was the chicken wing set without fries that cost 4.40 lesser. Makes no sense at all to charge 4.40 for an extra handful of fries.
Had breakfast here, with friendly service. Teh Halia was rich and nice. Telor Bawang Prata was good. I like it as they separate the chilli from the curry so that I can mix with the ratio I like!
