Our take on AL-Jumana, nestled in the quiet Seletar Hills area, is that it's a strong contender for quality prata and murtabak, especially for those who prefer a less oily preparation.
Reviewers consistently highlight the prata's crispiness and freshness, made to order, with the plain prata often cited as a benchmark for quality.
The accompanying curry is described as generous, thick, and spicy, though its heat level might not suit all palates.
The mutton murtabak stands out for its substantial chunks of meat rather than minced filling, offering a satisfying texture and flavour.
We note the consistent praise for friendly service and reasonable pricing, with an egg prata costing $2.
The main operational consideration is the 'constant queue' and limited operating hours, typically closing around 6 pm.
We'd recommend visiting during a weekday lunchtime to potentially avoid the busiest periods.
This is a reliable spot for well-executed prata and murtabak, particularly if you appreciate a spicier curry.

Had some murtabak craving and happened to be in the area. No issues with finding parking during a weekday lunchtime. Not sure if it’s partly due to the school holidays too. Dabao-ed a mutton murtabak…
Really nice find in Seletar Hills area 😊 Plain prata was so good (Best way to tell how good a prata place is)
Prata is crispy. Not oily. Always have constant queue. Open early and closes around 6pm. Gravy is spicy and may not be everyone liking, but i like it
This place nestled amongst the idyllic landed houses in Seletar serves very good roti prata.
