Our take: Anchorvale 303 Foodcourt is a no-frills hawker centre in Sengkang, known for its budget-friendly local fare.
While the setting is described as aged, the food quality often outweighs the aesthetics.
We note consistent praise for the char kway teow, though some find it on the sweeter side.
The lor mee and fish soup also receive positive mentions, with the salted egg yolk prawn from the zhi char stall highlighted for its freshness and flavour.
Kim Keat satay is a weekend evening draw, often cited as excellent.
However, we'd advise preparing for a warm environment, especially in the afternoon, due to reported poor air circulation.
Not all stalls operate in the evenings, so specific cravings might require a daytime visit.
Overall, it's a solid option for affordable hawker staples, particularly if you're in the area and looking for a reliable meal.

Place is hot in the afternoon and bad air circulation, prepare to get sweaty. The Char Kway Teow was nice but more on the sweeter side. Rojak is good, with lil bit of chilli.
