Our take: Bread & Bun Bakery earns high marks for its freshly baked goods, particularly the sourdough loaf, which some reviewers note has a less tangy profile than typical sourdough, priced at $5.00.
Other popular items include croissants, hot cross buns, ciabatta, and cinnamon bread.
We note that the bakery is conveniently located next to a wet market, making it a good stop for combined errands.
Customers appreciate the option to call ahead for freshly baked orders, and the friendly staff who offer to slice loaves.
However, we observe that shelves can be cleared out by early afternoon, especially on weekends, suggesting that an early visit is best for a full selection.
We also note that CDC vouchers are not accepted here.
Overall, Bread & Bun Bakery appears to be a reliable neighbourhood spot for quality bread.
Verdict: Worth a visit if you're in the Bedok area, especially for the sourdough, but go early for the best selection.

Yummy & crusty sourdough loaf ($5) that didn't have the usual tangy/sour taste. Staff offered to slice the loaf. Note that CDC vouchers are not accepted here.

First time to buy bread from here and will definitely come back on a weekly basis. Great croissants! Plus they have hot cross buns which I have been craving for.
Was there on a Sunday around 1pm. Most of the other breads were wiped off the shelf, but managed to buy the rye sourdough loaf at $5.80. Worth getting the bread if you are in the area.
Freshly baked bread and it tastes good! Chiabata and cinnamon bread was super delicious. And the staff is very friendly :)
