Our take: Circuit Road Hawker Centre offers a nostalgic hawker experience, particularly appealing to those who appreciate traditional stalls and a more laid-back atmosphere.
We note the 'Garlic chicken claypot' from Nanxing as a standout, frequently recommended by regulars.
The centre also features unique finds like a dedicated tutu kueh and muah chee stall, and a 'Dancing Char Kway Teow' that serves the dish with a sunny-side-up egg.
While prices are generally inexpensive, reflecting its role in serving the local senior community, we'd advise against morning visits as many stalls are still closed.
Some patrons also find the space can feel stuffy due to ventilation, though outdoor seating offers an alternative.
We think it's a solid option if you're in the Geylang area and looking for a taste of old-school Singapore, but it's not a destination we'd recommend making a special trip for.

What customers say
Circuit Road Hawker Centre is appreciated for its nostalgic atmosphere, reasonable prices, and wide variety of traditional hawker fare, including unique finds like Tutu Kueh and 'Dancing Char Kway Teow' with a sunny-side up egg.
While many stalls offer delicious food, some visitors find the environment stuffy due to poor ventilation, especially in the mornings when many stalls are still closed.
It's considered a good local option, particularly for seniors, but not necessarily a destination worth a special trip.

Go for the food and old school atmosphere.... Lots of nice food.... Can't go wrong lah...
Not a morning place - many stalls were still closed. The space feels stuffy, likely due to low ceilings & inactive exhausts, with fans just circulating the hot air from above.
Garlic chicken claypot by Nanxing guys. Came here because our parents recommended this place to us. They come here after church service every Sunday and it’s really popular.
One of the older hawker centres, that serves reasonably priced food as this is an estate for senior citizens who probably are staying alone or are no longer working. I found it interesting to be able…
Older hawker centre. Price is reasonable. Serving the seniors. Can use cdc vouchers. Wide variety of good food. Recently just renovated. Can come if nearby. Dont need to specially come.
