Our take: Da Cheng offers a wide selection of mixed rice (cai fan) dishes, with several reviewers highlighting the variety and value.
The fried pig liver, tofu with minced meat, and sambal squid have been praised for their taste and texture, with one customer noting the pig liver was 'not overcooked' and lacked a 'powdery after taste'.
Portions are generally considered generous for the price, with meals ranging from $2.50 for two dishes to $6.50 for four.
However, there's a notable concern regarding freshness, with one reviewer claiming dishes were 'not fresh' and had a 'sourness'.
We'd recommend visiting during peak hours to ensure higher turnover of dishes.
It's also important to note that the stall reportedly only accepts cash.
A good option for an affordable and varied meal, but be mindful of dish freshness.

This stall only accept cash. Their dishes are not fresh, selling overnight left over. You can even smell the “sourness”. Not recommended.
Good price, variety, and portion. Taste is alright. Be careful of those vegetable/egg/beancurd dishes with meat in them
