Our take: Dim Sum Express offers a straightforward dim sum experience where every item is priced at $1.50.
This consistent pricing makes it an attractive option for those seeking an affordable meal, especially for breakfast or a casual bite.
Reviewers frequently highlight the value for money, with the Big Bao receiving particular praise for its juiciness and size, often compared favorably to more expensive alternatives.
The Taro Dumpling and Prawn Chee Cheong Fun are also noted as worthwhile choices.
While the price point is a major draw, some feedback suggests the taste can be 'superb normal' or 'not impressive but acceptable,' indicating that while the value is high, the culinary experience might not be groundbreaking.
The har gow, for instance, is described as tasting good despite resembling frozen varieties.
We think this spot is best for a no-frills, budget-friendly dim sum fix, particularly if you're in the Jurong West area.
It's a reliable option for satisfying cravings without breaking the bank, especially for families or those looking for a quick takeaway.

each $1.50, not impressive but it's acceptable. Price and quality match. Fair value breakfast, satisfying
It offers great value for money with every item priced at $1.50. The Big Bao, which typically costs $2 at most places, including well-known brands like Nam Kee Pau, is only $1.50 here and it's not dry…
For $1.50 per dish, with non regrettable dim sum such as the Taro Dumpling, it’s always a joy to eat with family members from young to old. Special mention to also try their prawn Chee Cheong Fun!
Taman jurong has nice and affordable food. This is another coffee shop with nice and reasonable price dim sum. I like most of the dishes here and alway take away due to Covid safety.
Price very cheap but taste superb normal. Not nice except carrot cake.
