Our take: East Coast Lagoon Food Village offers a unique hawker experience as Singapore's only beachfront food centre.

We think it's an ideal spot for a relaxed evening meal, especially after a day spent at East Coast Park.

The variety is extensive, ranging from BBQ seafood to classic hawker fare.

Signature dishes like the Sambal Stingray from Stingray Forever BBQ Seafood (from S$18) and the Charcoal BBQ Chicken Wings from Ah Hwee BBQ Chicken (S$1.30-S$1.40 per wing) are consistently praised.

While the ambiance is lively and the sea breeze is a definite plus, be prepared for crowds and potential queues, particularly for popular stalls like Haron Satay 55.

We'd recommend arriving in the early evening to secure a table and beat the rush.

Parking can also be a challenge due to its popularity.

A reliable everyday option, not a destination meal.

What customers say

East Coast Lagoon Food Village is highly praised for its unique beachfront ambiance and extensive variety of classic local dishes, particularly satay, BBQ seafood, and chicken wings.

While the lively evening atmosphere and sea breeze are major draws, visitors should be prepared for potential long queues at popular stalls and challenges with parking, especially during peak hours.

Some stalls may also have inconsistent service or limited payment options, primarily cash.

Lots of good food here. 👍🏻 We like the satay, hokkien mee, carrot cake. Very popular hawker so parking can be a challenge. Also when it rains, it is not fully sheltered
