Our take: Hola Cafe, located conveniently near Simei MRT, functions as a bustling corner coffee shop offering a wide array of hawker fare.
We see consistent mentions of popular local dishes like Nasi Lemak Set B for $5, Mee Soto for $3, and Lontong for $4.50, with the latter praised for its spiciness and generous ingredients.
The fish soup stall also garners positive feedback for its clean and tasty broth, with options like batang or fried/sliced fillet.
However, we note recurring complaints about staff attitude, particularly from the chicken rice and tze char stalls, which can detract from the dining experience.
While the variety and affordability are clear draws, the service inconsistencies are a significant concern.
We'd recommend Hola Cafe for a quick, affordable hawker meal if you're in the area, but be prepared for potentially inconsistent service at some stalls.

What customers say
Hola Cafe, located near Simei MRT, is a popular food court offering a diverse range of hawker fare.
While many appreciate the variety and reasonable prices, with highlights like the spicy Lontong and flavorful fish soup, there are recurring complaints about staff attitude, particularly at the chicken rice and Tze Char stalls.
Some dishes, like the Bee Hoon, are considered average despite generous portions, and food quality can be inconsistent, with some Tze Char items served cold.

A nice but not so very big food court next to Simei MRT. I had the Yong Tau Foo which was pretty good. The soup has a nice prawn taste to it.
