Our take: HomeTeamNS Fitness Workz Garage in Bedok offers a functional fitness experience with an industrial garage aesthetic.
We note the consistent high ratings, with many highlighting the well-maintained facilities and friendly staff.
The gym provides a good range of equipment, including free weights up to 50kg, which should satisfy most users.
A standout feature is the view of Bedok Reservoir from the cardio machines, enhancing the workout experience.
However, we've observed some recurring feedback regarding the ladies' changing area.
The layout is described as cramped, with benches obstructing locker access and a curtained entrance raising privacy concerns.
This suggests a design oversight that could impact comfort and usability for female members.
Despite this, the overall sentiment is positive, with members appreciating the clean environment and helpful staff, particularly during membership renewals.
We recommend this gym for those prioritising well-equipped facilities and a pleasant workout atmosphere, especially if the view is a draw.
Be mindful of the potential crowding in the ladies' changing room.
