Our take: Huang Chao Teochew Noodle House at the airport appears to be a convenient option for travellers, especially during off-peak hours.
Reviewers frequently highlight the bouncy fishballs and tasty chilli sauce, with some noting the quality is comparable to hawker centre standards, which is a strong commendation for an airport eatery.
The self-service ordering system via QR code seems to be the standard, with payment options including credit card and PayNow.
While the taste and texture generally receive positive remarks, there are comments about portion sizes being on the smaller side.
A significant concern, however, is the inconsistency in service, with one reviewer detailing a negative encounter regarding staff attitude.
We'd recommend this for a late-night meal when other options are limited, but manage expectations regarding service and portion size.
It's a reliable choice for a quick, satisfying bite before or after a flight, particularly if you value efficiency and a familiar taste over a full-service dining experience.

Taste and texture were good but it would have been even better if the portion was bigger.
This has to be one of the best bak cho mee at the airport and at this hour 2am! The taste is as good as those you get at the hawker centre. Service and atmosphere wise are equally satisfying..
Pretty good for airport standard. I finished it.
