Our take: Huang Ying Wanton Noodles consistently earns high marks for its dark sauce wanton mee, with reviewers praising the generous portions of noodles and ingredients.
The crispy wantons are a particular highlight, as is the flavorful chili and the ample char siew.
We note that the $4.50 wanton mee comes with six wantons, making it a filling and value-for-money option.
Beyond the signature dish, the fishball noodles are also recommended for their bouncy, juicy fishballs, and the chicken cutlet is a popular add-on.
The option to choose a kuay teow version of the noodles adds a nice touch of customisation.
We think this is a reliable spot for a satisfying and well-executed wanton mee, especially given the friendly service mentioned by patrons.
A solid choice for a hearty, everyday meal.
