We think Josh's Grill offers a reliable option for Western cuisine in Novena, particularly for those seeking generous portions at a moderate price point.
The BBQ Chicken Chop consistently receives praise for being tender and juicy, and the truffle mashed potatoes are a standout side, noted for their fragrance and consistent quality across outlets.
We also see positive mentions for the prawn aglio-olio and chicken truffle creamy pasta, suggesting a broader appeal beyond just the grilled meats.
However, there are some inconsistencies to be aware of.
While some reviewers praise the complimentary brioche as soft and fluffy, others have found it hard and dry, suggesting variability in preparation.
The cold pasta has been described as mediocre and soggy, and the baked potato as potentially reheated.
Service is generally highlighted as attentive and friendly, with staff willing to accommodate seating preferences.
We'd recommend focusing on the grilled items and the truffle mashed potatoes.
Best for a casual, everyday meal where portion size and value are priorities.
