Our take: Khairunmiyah positions itself on its 'Crispy Prata,' and public sentiment largely confirms this claim.
Reviewers consistently highlight the prata's crispiness, with some noting it's achieved through deep-frying, which can lead to a slightly oilier texture.
For those who prefer a less oily, pan-fried crisp, this might be a point of contention.
The plain prata is particularly lauded for its crispness, while the egg prata is noted as good, though not achieving the same level of crisp.
The accompanying curries receive mixed reviews; some find the fish curry tangy and effective in balancing the prata's oiliness, while others describe the dhal as watery and salty, and the general curry offering as average.
The Indian rojak also gets a positive mention for its thick, tasty sauce.
We think Khairunmiyah is a solid option for those specifically seeking a very crispy prata, especially given the reasonable pricing, with 2 plain pratas at $2.60 and egg prata at $2.
Best for a quick, affordable meal if you're in the Ang Mo Kio area and don't mind a slightly oilier prata.

Khairunmiyah is praised for its hot, fresh, and exceptionally crispy prata, with many customers noting the unique crispiness, though some find it slightly oily due to the cooking method.
While the plain and crispy pratas are highlights, the egg prata is considered decent, and the accompanying curries receive mixed reviews, ranging from well-paired to watery/salty or just average.
The Indian rojak is also a popular and delicious option with a thick, tasty sauce.

Hot fresh prata that is cooked upon ordering. Not the crispy kind but that’s alright, i like it this way too. Curry pairs up well with the prata. A halal option for Muslim parents who send their kids…
The crispy prata texture is achieved by deep frying and not frying, a little bit too oily. The dhal curry watery and salty to my preference. Personally, I prefer crispy texture achieved by frying ye…
Came here for the crispy prata, got exactly what it says, probably one of the most crispy prata I had. For the egg prata, it can't be made crispy but is not bad either, curry is however average. Reaso…
First time buying from this stall. Got the Indian rojak and it was delicious. Sauce is also thick and tasty, lots of onions and green chillies too. Will try the prata next time.
plain prata is crispy, no joke! Slightly oily as a result, but comes with a fish curry that hides this with a nice tang. Definitely come back to try other menu items.
