Editor’s Note

Last updated 30 May 2026

Our take on KJM Curry House suggests a mixed bag, primarily for its Indian Muslim offerings.

While some patrons appreciate the affordability, with one reviewer noting a plain prata at $2, the service quality appears to be a significant point of contention.

Multiple accounts describe staff as unaccommodating or arrogant, particularly regarding specific requests like hot prata.

There are also mentions of pre-made items, which can lead to cold food.

However, the Yong Tau Foo stall within the same establishment receives a more positive mention for its unique hash brown-like items and friendly owner who offers small discounts.

We think KJM Curry House is best approached as a no-frills, budget-friendly option if you're in the Jurong West area and are not particular about service or freshly made items.

It's a reliable everyday option, not a destination meal.

They are the only yong tao hu stall that has those bigger versions of the mc donald hash browns. Owner loves to discount the few cents as well.
