Our take on KNS Local Delights suggests a mixed bag of experiences, with some dishes shining while others fall flat.
The Maggi Goreng receives consistent praise for its taste and texture, with one reviewer calling it 'sibei ho' (very good).
The prata also appears to be a strong contender, with claims that it rivals Malaysian versions and draws a consistent queue.
However, the Tom Yum soup is explicitly called out as a 'waste of money,' and the Kway Teow Goreng is described as bland and overpriced at $5.50 for a sparse portion.
We also note concerns about staff attitude and transparency in pricing, particularly with an incident involving an unrequested additional egg on a $7 briyani, leading to a $0.50 upcharge.
We'd recommend KNS Local Delights if you're in the Punggol area and specifically craving their Maggi Goreng or prata.
Be prepared for a potential wait, and confirm pricing for add-ons to avoid surprises.
It's a place for specific cravings, not a general culinary adventure.

Customer sentiment for KNS Local Delights is mixed, with strong praise for their prata and Maggi Goreng, often described as delicious and comparable to Malaysian standards.
However, there are significant complaints regarding the Kway Teow Goreng being bland and overpriced, and the Tom Yum soup being disappointing.
Service issues, including staff attitude and alleged dishonest pricing practices for dishes like briyani, also contribute to negative experiences, despite some finding staff friendly.

2 things to say abt the first time eating here: -Maggi goreng sibei ho, yummy and texture -Tom Yum soup - confirm KNS and wasted money if you buy it! Foodcourt is clean and nice!
Worst kway teow goreng ever, it was only kway teow, egg and cabbage. Super bland, no other taste. $5.50 for nonsense food.
This stall always have queue. Saw many people bought the prata. Seafood mee goreng taste average, little portion given the price. Staff have don't care attitude.
Beware of the indian stall. Ordered briyani which is $7 but collect $7.50 from me. Ask him why he said added an egg for me which I didn't even asked for. If want add at least must ask customer first.…
You will not need to go to Malaysia for delicious roti cannai anymore, their prata is very tasty!!! Staff are very friendly too!
