Our take: Kopi & Tarts appears to be a spot for a quick coffee, with some patrons finding the coffee quality and quantity to be good value.
However, we've noted consistent complaints regarding operational inconsistencies, specifically staff opening late and closing early, often significantly deviating from stated hours.
This makes planning a visit, especially in the mornings, unreliable.
While some have found the gula melaka tea to be a highlight, there are mixed reviews on the tarts themselves, with some suggesting a decline in quality.
We'd recommend Kopi & Tarts primarily for those in the Science Park II area seeking a coffee, but only after 9am to avoid potential disappointment with opening times.
It's a convenient option if you're already nearby, but not a destination we'd go out of our way for.

The Gula Melaka tea is a notable positive, and the cafe is appreciated by some as a quiet spot for 'me-time'.

Staff are constantly late and choose to close the store whenever they please. Don’t follow the opening hours stated in Google! Pics are shown to be 19 Feb, 0819 and still not open, even though store…
Staff on multiple occasions has opened late and close early, way beyond the opening timing and close at least an hour before the closing timing. Shop supposed to open at 8am but at 820, still nobody.…
Coffee taste and quantity is really good. Worth the money. But I feel other food items are over priced. I feel tarts could be better in terms of taste also.
Not sure if they changed the egg tart recipe but it was not as nice as the last time. The gula melaka tea (less sweet) was pretty good and thick.
A tiny cafe tucked off the corner @ Science Park II, a good place if you need a ME-time! My first visit today & here I eat to my heart's content!
