Our take: Kowloon Hong Kong Style Charcoal Roasted in Senja offers a mixed bag, with some dishes standing out more than others.
The char siew and roast duck receive consistent praise, with specific mentions of crispy duck skin and a good portion size for the $6.30 char siew + roast duck rice.
The herbal duck rice is also noted for its fragrance and tender meat.
However, the chicken rice is generally considered average, and the char siew, while sweet, is sometimes criticised for being too thin.
We also note that the roast pork can be a bit hard, and the noodles are not particularly well-received.
A recurring point of feedback is the use of disposable serving ware, which detracts from the dining experience.
Service can also be slow at times.
Overall, it seems the roasted meats are the main draw here.
We'd recommend focusing on the char siew and roast duck, especially if you're in the area and looking for a quick, affordable meal.

The chicken rice is not too bad but the dumplings were not nice. The frozen porky smell was evident and not really fresh. Service can be slow at times.
Fragrant herbal duck rice, with tender duck meat. Soup is pretty good as well. Was good that I could top up a bit to get more vegetables as well. Unfortunately serving in disposables diminished the ex…
Surprisingly the char siew and duck is tasty. I ordered char siew + roast duck rice and it costs $6.3. Duck has crispy skin on and fresh. Soup has corn inside. Portion is just nice.
Pretty good char siew noodles and char siew . The roast pork is nice but little hard. The chicken rice is average.
Char Siew is okay, sweet but wish they were thicker for more texture. Noodle not nice.
