Our take: Lemaq appears to be a solid option for traditional Malay dishes, particularly their Laksa.
Reviewers consistently praise the Laksa for its unique, authentic flavour and rich, umami broth, with one noting the thick fishcake.
At $3.00, the Mee Rebus is also highlighted for its generous portion and good taste, suggesting strong value across the menu.
We note the specific mention of their Mee Hoon Goreng, which some find hard to come by with the right 'taucu' flavour, indicating a niche but well-executed dish.
However, there's a clear divergence in opinion regarding their Putu Piring, with one customer finding it disappointing compared to competitors and citing slow service.
This suggests that while their main dishes like Laksa and Mee Rebus are strong, other menu items might not meet the same standard.
We'd recommend focusing on their Laksa and Mee Rebus for a reliable and value-for-money meal.

What customers say
Lemaq receives high praise for its authentic and flavorful laksa, often described as unique and reminiscent of old-generation recipes, with customers highlighting the rich broth and generous portions.
The mee rebus and roti kirai with curry also garner positive feedback for taste and value.
However, the putu piring at the Ang Mo Kio hub location was a significant disappointment for one customer, citing slow service and inferior taste compared to competitors.

Laksa is very unique and delicious! Took take away and heat it back up at home and it's nice when it's hot! Fishcake was very nice too and thick!
At $3.00 a plate, no one comes close in terms of value as well as taste. Though without boiled egg, my plate was delicious to the max! Broth is the star - definitely freshly prepared, not from a sauce…
Bought putu piring from Ang Mo Kio hub. Service is very slow. The putu piring is not very nice when compared to the Haig Road competitor. Very disappointed.
I found out about Lemaq from someone's post in Tiktok so I decided to try. I really like the laksa which is the authentic old generation type of laksa recipe. And if u all are lazy like me and no one…
27/11/2024 Had mee rebus ($3) for lunch, was quite good & portion was generous for $3. I'll be back to try other items on the menu.
