Our take: Liang Zai Prawn Noodle offers a focused menu of prawn noodle dishes, with both soup and dry options available.
We note that the 'big prawn' versions, like the fried big prawn mee noodles, seem to be a highlight, with reviewers praising the sweetness of the prawns.
The sambal also receives positive mentions for complementing the dish well.
However, there are some inconsistencies in portioning and value, with one reviewer noting that a $6.80 bowl contained only two small prawn halves and ribs with minimal meat.
The soup base, while described as flavourful, has also been called 'rather diluted' by some.
We think this spot is best for those specifically seeking a prawn mee fix, particularly the fried big prawn version.
It's a reliable option if you're in the Marine Terrace area, but manage expectations regarding portion sizes for the standard bowls.

What customers say
Liang Zai Prawn Noodle generally receives positive feedback for its prawn noodles, particularly the large prawn versions which are noted for their sweetness.
While the dry prawn mee and fried big prawn mee noodles are also considered good, some customers find the soup diluted and the portion of prawns and meat in the regular bowls to be small for the price.
The sambal is a highlight for many, and staff are noted as friendly.

One of the best hokkien mee stores. Ordered the big prawn version with 2 big prawns with shells and it's very sweet unlike the small deshell ones. The sambal goes very well with it. Definitely must tr…
Tried the fried big prawn mee noodles on friday and the dry prawn mee today. Both not bad. For $8.8 i got four sliced half prawns and belly pork and squid.
Soup was flavourful but rather diluted. At $6.80, there were only two halves of a small prawn as well as ribs with barely any meat. Staff was friendly.
