Our take: Lucky Fishball Noodle is a long-standing hawker stall, with some patrons returning for over two decades.
The stall is known for its fishball noodles, with the dry version with added chilli being a popular choice.
Many reviewers highlight the generous portion sizes, with the standard fishball noodles priced at $3.50, offering good value.
The laksa Yong Tau Foo is frequently mentioned as a standout dish, praised for its affordability and taste.
We note that the stall can get crowded during lunch hours, suggesting a visit outside of peak times for a more relaxed experience.
However, we also note a serious customer complaint regarding alleged dishonesty in change-giving.
While this appears to be an isolated incident in the reviews, it's a significant concern for any business.
We recommend customers exercise diligence when handling transactions.
Overall, it appears to be a reliable spot for a hearty and affordable meal, particularly if you're in the mood for laksa YTF.
Worth a try if you're in the Ang Mo Kio area, but double-check your change.
