My Briyani House offers Indian cuisine in the East Coast Park area, serving as a convenient option for those in Marine Parade.
We note that while it provides a wide spread of food, the overall quality can be inconsistent.
The prata and accompanying fish curry receive positive mentions, though the teh tarik is often described as overly sweet.
The biryani, a signature item, appears to be a point of contention; the $11 mutton biryani has been criticised for its small portion of meat and lukewarm temperature, with some suggesting the chicken biryani offers better value.
Service issues, particularly regarding staff attitude and order rejections, have also been highlighted by long-time customers.
We think My Briyani House is best considered a backup or convenient option if you're already in the East Coast Park vicinity, especially during off-peak hours.
It's not a destination for a top-tier Indian meal, but it can serve a purpose for groups or those seeking a quick bite in an otherwise quiet area.
Be prepared for potential inconsistencies in both food quality and service.

What customers say
My Briyani House receives mixed reviews, with customers appreciating its presence in the East Coast Park area and the freshness of dishes like prata.
However, significant concerns are raised about inconsistent service, particularly regarding staff attitude and order rejections, as well as the quality and value of certain dishes like the mutton biryani, which is often described as lukewarm with insufficient meat.
The sweetness of the teh tarik and charges for condiments like chilli padi also draw criticism.

the prata was freshly made and no complains there. the fish curry that went with the prata was delicious. however, the teh tarik was overly sweet, too much condensed milk and sugar!
Below average briyani, came to try here as it was rather quiet and no people. Atmosphere wise definitely good especially after lunch hours I suppose, however for the other restaurants and food chains…
