Our take: Nasi Kampung@Jalan Tiga offers a range of Malay dishes, with a clear emphasis on traditional flavours.
Reviewers frequently praise the Lontong and Begedil, with one calling the latter "the best begedil I ever tried." The Mee Rebus and Mee Soto also receive positive mentions for their flavourful broths, especially when chili is added.
Prices are very accessible, with Mee Rebus and Lontong both at $4, and epok-epok at $1 each.
We note that while many find the food authentic and "old school," there are recurring comments about the texture of the meat, with beef and chicken sometimes described as dry or tough, and beef rendang being on the sweeter side.
The coffee shop setting is a common point of feedback, with limited and hot seating.
We'd recommend Nasi Kampung for a quick, affordable breakfast or lunch, focusing on the Lontong and Begedil.
Be prepared for a potentially warm dining environment.

What customers say
Nasi Kampung@Jalan Tiga is praised for its authentic Malay dishes, with the lontong, begedil, and fried chicken wing frequently highlighted as delicious.
While service is generally friendly and fast, some customers find the beef and chicken dishes to be dry or tough, and certain items like asam pedas or beef rendang can be oily, salty, or sweet.
The limited and hot seating at the coffee shop is a recurring operational concern.

Settled for the mee soto for a quick meal. Friendly service and thought the wait was short. Soup was flavorful, add in the chili for extra heat. I also added on a begedil for more substantial meal.
