Our take: NeNe Chicken in Jurong East offers a reliable Korean fried chicken experience, particularly for those in the area looking for a late-night option.
Diners consistently praise the freshness and crispiness of the chicken.
The Cheesy Snowy Volcano powder is a standout, described as 'shiok' and a blend of spicy, savoury, and a little sweet, though we'd caution those with low spice tolerance to have a drink ready.
The 2-piece fried chicken with soy sauce and cheese fries is priced at $8.80, offering a good value.
While some found chicken breast pieces a bit dry, the overall consensus is that the food is passable to very good.
We note the friendly and swift service, with thoughtful touches like disposable plastic gloves for takeaway orders.
The tteokbokki with sausage is also a popular side, though one reviewer found the sauce a bit watery.
We think this is a solid choice for a quick, satisfying fried chicken fix.
Verdict: A dependable option for Korean fried chicken, especially for late-night cravings in Jurong East.

The snowing chili cheese is spicy, savoury and a little sweet. The tteokbokki is quite watery. And the fried tteokbokki and chicken sausage taste good.
They moved from a restaurant concept to a hawker which is also okay. The chicken is fresh and staff is really nice and helpful.
