Our take: Orchis Food Court, located in Changi Terminal 1, positions itself as an affordable option for both airport staff and the general public.
We see a recurring theme of good value, with some reviewers highlighting dishes like chicken and fried rice for around $5.
The vegetarian horfun, cooked fresh with good wok hei, is noted as a standout.
However, there are inconsistencies in pricing and portioning, particularly with the beehoon goreng.
One account details being charged $8 for a chicken beehoon goreng, despite the listed price being $5, with a small, bony chicken portion.
While the food court is generally clean and offers a 'controlled introduction to street food markets,' these pricing discrepancies are a concern.
Verdict: A convenient and generally affordable option if you're at Changi Terminal 1, especially for vegetarian options.
Be mindful of unlisted charges and confirm prices before ordering, particularly for add-ons.
