Our take on Pasta Queen, located in Greenwich V, is that it offers a mixed bag of experiences.
While some diners praise the generous portions and value, particularly the $10.50 Fish & Chips which comes with a large piece of fish, fries, coleslaw, and baked beans, consistency appears to be an issue.
The Carbonara pasta also receives positive mentions for its creaminess and ingredients like bacon and mushroom.
However, several reviews highlight significant quality control problems.
Complaints include cold and soggy fries, overcooked chicken chop, and fish that tastes like it was fried in old oil.
The 'grilled' fish is also noted to be pan-fried instead.
Service is described as merely 'okay' by some.
Given the inconsistent food quality and the specific issues with preparation, we'd recommend Pasta Queen primarily for those seeking a large, budget-friendly meal in the Serangoon area, but with tempered expectations regarding consistency and execution.
It's a reliable option for quantity over consistent quality.

Ordered a mixed grille, sunny side up is cold, chicken chop is over cooked, fries are cold, soggy and soaked in black pepper sauce, fish is crispy but oil definitely need to change more regularly.
Fries served taste like over night fries so left 90% not eaten! Chicken chop also not juicy and grilled fish is not grilled, it's pan fried. Only saving grace is the pasta.
Ordered on take-away on Saturday lunch time. Took around 20 minutes to get them ready. Beeper was given upon purchase. It was cash only stall, it mentioned that electronic payment was broken on my vis…
