Our take: Pha Muk Restaurant offers a taste of Northern Thai cuisine, particularly noted for its noodle dishes.
The Yen Ta Fo Tom Yum, a Thai-style Yong Tau Foo, is consistently highlighted as a must-try, praised for its flavorful pink broth and crunchy squid.
We also note the Crab Laksa, which reviewers describe as spicy and aromatic with a strong kaffir lime infusion and generous chicken feet.
While some find the Yen Ta Fo a little sweet, it seems possible to request less of the red sweet sauce.
The Thai milk tea also receives positive mentions.
Seating is limited, but the restaurant generally isn't overly crowded.
We think it's a solid option for authentic, home-style Thai food in the Downtown Core.
Best for a casual, satisfying meal.
