Our take: Pitstop Smart Energy functions primarily as a 24-hour convenience stop, offering a wide array of food options, particularly for those seeking halal choices.
We note the positive feedback on the variety, with some reviewers highlighting Malaysian-style dishes and the availability of food even in the early hours.
The 60-cent sambal pau goreng appears to be a standout item, drawing customers back.
However, we're concerned by the recurring issue of absent price tags for many items, including beverages, cakes, and snacks.
This lack of transparency can lead to unexpected costs, as evidenced by a thin slice of cake priced at $7.50-$8.50, which is on the higher side for a convenience store.
Furthermore, a serious hygiene complaint regarding a dead insect in food is a significant red flag.
We'd recommend Pitstop Smart Energy for its 24/7 availability and specific budget-friendly items like the sambal pau goreng, but advise customers to confirm prices before purchasing and to exercise caution regarding food safety.

Bought food from their nasi padang shop and was disgusted when i was eating and saw huge dead insect in my food.
24 hours food, lots of choices even at 2am. Have seats and counter top for dining in also. Reasonable price.
Impressed by the food selection especially those from Malaysia.. However, was surprised that most of the food items has no price tags or price indication. Shouldnt a retail shop like that in Singapore…
Burger was ok! But i will come but for their 60cent sambal pau goreng!
Best Pitstop in Singapore to get muslim halal food such as mixed rice, fried food and local drinks.
