Our take: Prata Hub in Ang Mo Kio appears to be a mixed bag, with some patrons praising its crispy prata and thosai, particularly highlighting the excellent coconut gravy.
The drinks, when ordered less sweet, also seem to hit the mark.
However, the mutton biryani ($9.50) receives a lukewarm reception, described as unexceptional despite tender mutton, and potentially too mild for those who prefer spicier Indian fare.
There are also criticisms regarding the egg prata ($2.40), with one reviewer finding it soft and unevenly prepared, suggesting a lack of care in its execution.
The teh tarik, even when requested 'kurang manis' ($1.50), has been noted as excessively sweet.
We think Prata Hub is best approached for its crispy prata and thosai, but temper expectations for the biryani and be specific about sugar levels in drinks.

The mutton in the biryani is tender, but the overall dish lacks spice for some palates.

Had the mutton biryani ($9.50) and teh tarik kurang manis ($1.50) after seeing a review. The beriyani is nothing to shout about, even if the mutton is tender. I prefer the biryani at Al Mubin 446 Ang…
Good prata that's on the crispy side. Thosai was good too... the coconut gravy is particularly excellent 👌🏻 The chutney can be better (less salt) The drinks are all on point 👉 less sweet and taste…
Egg prata cost $2.40. Disappointed with the prata as it felt soft like tissue paper. The egg was not evenly spread. Curry either chicken or fish. Felt like the chef was cooking this half-heartedly.
