Our take: PYROAST@Serangoon operates more as a grab-and-go coffee spot than a traditional cafe.
Located in the lobby of a Singtel building, seating is extremely limited, confined to shared lobby chairs.
This makes it less ideal for lingering and more suited for a quick coffee run, especially during peak lunch hours when it can get busy with office staff.
While the coffee itself is generally well-regarded, the lack of proper dine-in facilities and even convenient waste disposal (drinks are served in takeaway cups but bins are scarce) points towards a setup prioritising efficiency over comfort.
We'd recommend PYROAST@Serangoon for a convenient takeaway coffee if you're in the immediate vicinity, but not as a destination for a sit-down cafe experience.
