Our take: San De Vegetarian offers an allium-free oriental vegetarian option within the Koufu food court at KK Women's and Children's Hospital.
It's noted for opening early, around 6:30 AM, with a smaller selection of dishes available.
Reviewers highlight the Bee Tai Bak and Kuay Teow as good choices.
The stall is tucked away in a corner but is generally easy to locate.
We note that the lunch period can become crowded, suggesting that off-peak hours might offer a more relaxed experience.
However, there are mixed opinions on value, with one reviewer finding a $5 Maggie Mee with curry cabbage and bean curd skin to be small in portion and overpriced.
We think it's a convenient option for those in the hospital area seeking an early, allium-free vegetarian meal, particularly if you stick to the recommended noodle dishes.
Best for a quick, convenient meal if you're already in the vicinity, but be mindful of potential lunch crowds and portion sizes.
