Our take: Seng Hiang Bak Chor Mee offers a comforting, nostalgic bowl of soup-style bak chor mee that resonates with those who appreciate the Bedok 85 style.
Reviewers consistently praise the generous portions of minced pork and the flavourful, savoury soup, often noting the absence of excessive MSG.
The fried garlic is a recurring highlight, elevating the overall taste.
While the dry version is also available and well-regarded for its springy noodles and ample pork lard, the soup BCM appears to be the primary draw.
We note that during peak hours, particularly around 12:30 PM, the queue can be substantial, though it generally moves efficiently.
A common point of feedback is the alkaline taste in the noodles during busy periods, suggesting a need for more frequent water changes.
There are also mentions of confusing queue management, where ordering and collection lines merge.
However, the spacious and airy hawker centre environment is a plus.
We think it's worth a visit for a satisfying bowl of soup BCM, especially if you're in the Sengkang area.
Verdict: Best for a comforting soup BCM, but aim for a late lunch after 1:30 PM to avoid the longest queues and potential noodle quality issues.

Didn't expect to find this here. Wow the unexpected delicious taste of bedok in Sengkang. Even though it's a hot afternoon, I just enjoy the hot soup submerging the BCM. Will definitely come back.
The minced meat is less fatty compared to the other famous stall at 85. They need to work on queue management here. The ordering and collection queue merges into one and the staff don't care to separa…
The soup alone is worth a visit. It was comforting and chock full of ingredients. The pork was very tender as well. The Hor fun could be more smooth, but overall this is good bowl of BCM.
