Our take: Thai Dynasty Express offers a quick Thai fix within NTU's North Spine Plaza.
We see mentions of a strong 'wok hei' in their fried rice, which some reviewers recommend pairing with an egg or their XO sauce for added flavour.
The 'wok express' concept allows for customisation, or you can opt for pre-selected menu items.
However, consistency seems to be an issue; while some find the food 'pretty nice and average filling,' others describe it as 'bland' with 'overcooked' eggs.
The dining environment also receives mixed feedback, with complaints about fried smells, poor air conditioning, and cleanliness issues like flies.
Service, too, is a point of contention, with one reviewer detailing a rude encounter regarding order collection and chilli sauce.
We'd suggest this as a convenient, quick lunch option if you're already in the area, particularly for the fried rice, but be prepared for potential queues and manage expectations regarding the dining experience and service.

What customers say
Thai Dynasty Express offers decent Thai cuisine at North Spine Plaza, with customers appreciating the customizable Wok Express option and strong 'wok hei' in dishes like fried rice.
However, recurring issues include bland food, small portion sizes for the price, and significant concerns about staff rudeness and poor hygiene, specifically flies and a persistent fried smell.
While some find it a convenient lunch option, the negative dining environment and service detract from the overall experience.
