Our take: The Bullion Hawker Bar presents itself as a modern hawker experience, offering a diverse range of food stalls alongside an attractive beer selection.
We note consistent praise for the clean environment and the variety of food options, from Thai cuisine like the Tom Yam soup and Phad Thai from Kin Thai, to Japanese ramen and local favourites like satay from Prince Hokkien Mee.
The availability of affordable draft beers, with deals like two pints of London Pride for $16, is a significant draw for many.
However, the experience isn't uniformly positive; some find the 'Chinese tapas' to be overpriced and lacking in quality, citing issues with items like mini xiao long bao and bland salted egg custard.
We also observe recurring comments about noise from the road and nearby smokers impacting the atmosphere.
Overall, it's a good spot for a casual meal with friends, especially if you're looking for a wide food selection and good beer deals.
Best for groups who can share and try different stalls, but be selective with your food choices.

What customers say
The Bullion Hawker Bar is generally well-regarded for its diverse selection of quality food stalls, with specific mentions of good satay from Prince Hokkien Mee, quality ramen, and tasty Kin Thai dishes like Tom Yam soup and Prawn Cake.
Customers appreciate the good atmosphere, cleanliness, and particularly the value for money on iced cold beers.
However, some negative feedback points to specific dishes being overpriced and poor quality, such as the Chinese tapas, and environmental nuisances like road noise and nearby smokers.

First time here, decided to try Kin Thai. The Tom Yam soup was really good, not too spicy. Phad Thai was tasty and the star was the Prawn Cake. Only gripe is that smokers smoke nearby.
Cheap iced cold beers on tap at only $9-11 a pint. The London Pride went for $16 for two pints. Unbelievable deal. Pay wave accepted and drink was brought to my table. Plenty of seats to enjoy your dr…
