Our take: Tim Ho Wan in Hougang consistently delivers on its reputation for quality dim sum.
We see frequent praise for their signature Baked BBQ Pork Buns, which are often highlighted alongside the steamed rice rolls and salted egg custard buns.
The efficiency of service is a recurring theme, with many reviewers noting quick table clearing and prompt food delivery, even during busy periods.
While it can get crowded, especially during lunch, the general consensus is that the queue moves quickly, making it a manageable wait.
The environment is generally described as comfortable, though it can be much busier on weekdays compared to a more relaxed weekend late afternoon.
We think it's a reliable choice for a satisfying dim sum meal, particularly if you're looking for consistent quality and efficient service.
