Our take: Wong Onn Kitchen appears to be a neighbourhood zi char stall with some standout dishes, but also notable inconsistencies.
The Curry Fish Head is frequently praised for its thick, lemak curry, though some diners report variability in freshness and portion size across visits.
The Fried French Bean with Dried Shrimp Floss also receives strong recommendations, with one reviewer claiming it surpasses similar dishes elsewhere.
However, the quality of other dishes seems to be a gamble; the Seafood Fried Rice at $7.80 is criticised for rubbery, tasteless frozen seafood, and the sweet and sour pork and pepper beef have been described as disappointing.
While some find the staff friendly and appreciate the wok hey in dishes like fried hor fun, the overall experience can be hit-or-miss.
Verdict: Best for those seeking specific, highly-rated dishes like the Curry Fish Head or Fried French Bean, but be prepared for potential inconsistency with other menu items.

This is a good zhichar stall with reasonable prices. The Fried French Bean with Dried Shrimp Floss is highly recommended. No French bean dish at other zhichar stalls comes close.

The stall has got many unique dishes, did a photo shoot for them and tried the Petai with Ikan Bilis, seafood with thick bee hoon and sweet and sour pork rice. All three are delicious!
