Our take: Xiang Wei Braised Duck consistently earns high praise for its traditional braised duck and kway chap.
Reviewers highlight the tender duck meat and well-braised intestines, noting the 'old school taste' that avoids being overly fancy.
The kway chap, priced affordably at $4.50 for a single portion, is frequently described as having a pleasant aroma from its spices, with all ingredients cooked to the right texture and flavour.
The braised pork belly and bean curd are also popular additions.
We note the generous portions and reasonable pricing, with a two-person meal including duck gizzard costing around $10.
The owners are often commended for their friendly service.
We think this is a strong contender for a reliable, satisfying meal.
Best for those seeking authentic, no-frills braised duck and kway chap in the Bedok area.

Besides food being tasty and served in generous portions, the stall owners (an elderly couple) are extremely friendly and I'd say it's the best stall in this particular hawker center!
